Mat Pilates Instructor - Sundays 9:30 am to 10:30 am

If you are a professional Pilates instructor who is highly motivated, have passion for teaching Pilates, friendly, willing to learn, has the ability to build relationships with potential and existing clients, this position is for you. We are looking for confident instructors who can work with all level of clients to provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner.

Qualifications

  • Energetic, positive and motivational teaching style
  • Willing to teach all levels and variations of classes in a safe, skillful, creative manner
  • Proof of Pilates Mat Certification by a recognized Pilates training program
  • Minimum 2 years Pilates teaching experience preferred
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Audition of teaching skills is required component of the screening process
  • Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
  • Passion for continuing education courses

Yoga Advisor Part-Time Front Desk - CLOSED

Flexibility with hours of work is key for these positions to accommodate our changing schedule needs evenings and week-ends.

If you are detailed oriented, a team player, can handle waves of high traffic and some quieter times, are self-motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly, you communicate well with people and are energetic and committed individual who is passionate about yoga, this position is for you. You must be good with MS Office Word and Excel, comfortable with answering phones, emails and cleaning. You learn quickly and complete tasks in a timely manner while delivering high quality service.

Duties Include:

  • Ensure clients sign into classes, workshops and teacher trainings
  • Advise clients on pricing, classes, workshops, and schedules
  • Follow up with client(s) or teacher(s) in person or phone calls
  • Keep accurate records of clients in our software system
  • Assist in organizing community member initiatives and events
  • Give tours of the studio and answer questions
  • Create social media calendar and post
  • Answer phone calls and reply to emails
  • Mop practice rooms, dust floor, clean mirrors, sanitize props, wash straps and other props and ensure studio is clean and tidy
  • Clean bathrooms (sinks, toilets, mirrors, showers, floor)
  • Clean all common areas like reception, hallways, storage area
  • Clean laundry room and wash, dry and fold laundry
  • Other administrative work as required

Qualifications:

  • High standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Can make a weekly commitment of 4 hour shift
  • 100% reliable, disciplined to show up on time, thoroughly capable of completing all assigned tasks, has a passion for customer service
  • Able to work independently, high work ethics and requires minimal supervision
  • Love yoga, know the benefits and live your life as an example of what yoga can do for you
  • Flexible and reliable team player
  • Pleasant, polite manner when dealing with public, staff and management

Registered Massage Therapist

This is an independent contractor role.  Competitive and fair commission is paid out.  Able to bring own clients as well as service our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously
  • Maintain accurate client records
  • Perform prep work, maintain a clean – hygienic and safe work environment

 Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communicate effectively
  • Must be registered with CMTO
  • Strong clinical assessment knowledge and massage treatment skills
  • Must be dependable, flexible, and reliable
  • Must be able to work variable hours including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain current product knowledge
  • Currently certified in First Aid and CPR
  • Liability Insurance Certificate
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • 1 - 2 year experience

Yoga Teachers (Sub for 10:00 am or 12:00 pm Classes)

Qualifications

  • Available to sub daytime classes Monday to Friday
  • Committed to inspire, lead and engage guests
  • Willing to teach all levels and variations of classes in a safe, skillful, creative manner
  • Proof of 200 hour certification by a recognized Yoga training program
  • Minimum 2 years yoga teaching experience preferred
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Audition of teaching skills is required component of the screening process
  • Passion for learning yoga through continuing education courses
  • Open and close the studio before and after the daytime classes
  • Understands yoga as a life path
