Why do Prenatal Yoga?
Welcoming a new baby into your life is exciting, beautiful, and deeply life-changing — but it can also place significant physical and emotional demands on the body and mind.
Postnatal yoga provides an opportunity to reconnect with yourself while gently rebuilding strength, improving posture, restoring mobility, and releasing tension created through pregnancy, childbirth, feeding, carrying, and caring for your baby.
This gentle and supportive yoga practice focuses on:
- strengthening abdominal and postural muscles,
- releasing tension in the hips, shoulders, neck, and upper back,
- improving mobility and body awareness,
- supporting relaxation and emotional wellbeing,
- and helping mothers feel stronger, calmer, and more balanced.
Classes are designed to create a welcoming and supportive environment filled with movement, relaxation, community, and self-care during this important stage of motherhood.
All levels are welcome, and no previous yoga experience is necessary.
Babies are welcome to attend sessions with their mothers whenever appropriate. While babies may occasionally be incorporated naturally into certain moments of class, they are never used as props. Most often, babies remain comfortably nearby while mothers enjoy their yoga practice.
Private postnatal yoga sessions are available both in-person from our Mississauga home studio and worldwide online through Zoom, allowing mothers to participate comfortably from home regardless of location.
Investment:
- 1 Session — $145 + HST
- 8 Sessions — $1,040 + HST ($130/session)
- 16 Sessions — $1,920 + HST ($120/session)
- 24 Sessions — $2,640 + HST ($110/session)
