Are you new to yoga practice? This 4 week workshop series is designed for first time yogis. Learn the fundamentals of yoga postures, yoga breathing, and yoga alignment in a group where everyone is a beginner. The teacher will give you some background on yoga while you're relaxed and seated, but come prepared to move. You’ll walk away feeling empowered, embodied, energized, and eager to walk into any yoga class of your choice!
We will meet on Thursdays 1.5 hours each for 4 weeks
It’s time to Party with Kristeen – It’s a Yoga Block Party!
Come out and join Kristeen for a workshop dedicated to using blocks for a variety of poses. Learn some of the foundational, strength, stability and alignment modifications that are available with the use of blocks. This class is open to students/clients of all levels and yoga teachers who wish to make their practice more accessible and/or would like a refresher on how to use blocks to assist their students in practice.
Learn how to become more comfortable using blocks in the classes you attend or teach in studio, or home practice.
The benefits of blocks are numerous and if you know Kristeen, you know she loves to use blocks in her teaching and in her personal practice.
You may think your work is afflicted with anxiety, stress and worry, affecting both your productivity and quality of work. In this workshop you will learn essential tools and techniques of yoga to calm your mind and body turning your anxiety into awareness, stress into hope, worry into energy. Combination of postures, breath work, and meditative techniques will be utilized along with interactive mat chat.

This series is designed to calm your mind and relax your body. Rooted in the yoga tradition and informed by recent research findings – is appropriate for people experiencing acute or chronic anxiety and/or depression.
Over the course of 3 weeks, participants will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of mind-body practices that reduce anxiety and increase resilience to stress.
