Intro to Soma Yoga ($63 + HST) with Kristeen Sopeju
*SomaYoga is a wonderful mixture of Somatic And Hatha Yoga Practices.
Join Kristeen for a 2.5 hour Structured Class in SomaYoga. This is a very gentle yoga practice to find space within the body. SomaYoga helps to reset the body, re connect by teaching muscles to move from constriction and contraction to ease. Develop this practice to relieve muscular pain and tension in the neck shoulders and back. Soma Yoga has also been
known to increase stability and mobility in the body.
What is Soma Yoga?
Soma Yoga is a beautiful combination of Somatics and Yoga Techniques to bring about a wider range of motion in the body. These techniques re introduce the muscles to a new way of movement. Originally Developed by Charles Hanna, Somatic techniques have proven
to reduce pain in the body.
Kristeen is a SomaYoga Instructor and is qualified to lead classes and offer one to one private sessions in this modality. Guided into simple repetitive movements clients are taught a sequence of moments to perform daily and prior to other activities.
Kristeen Sopeju is a Continuing Education Provider.
Yoga Teachers who join this class will receive 2 CEU credits towards maintaining their yoga alliance status.
